Julia Chi’s running career spans over 50 years, She was an international marathon runner in the ’80s with a personal best time of 2:36:31.
This is part 2 – in part 1 Julia described her early years as a runner; starting barefoot and moving into wearing light shoes as the competition became more serious!
In this podcast she talks of her return to barefoot running – and the journey to realise this after spending £100’s of orthotics to help re align and allow pain free running.
It took 15 years, but she eventually shed not only the orthotics, but the shoes as well!
